I understand that the acting OPM inspector general says the Office of Personnel Management is investigating whether any “emerging threats” have arisen as Elon Musk’s DOGE works to rapidly transform government systems. Personally, I do not trust this administration to investigate itself. Congress should be holding investigations NOW before too much damage has been done, before there has been too much destruction and deleting of information and firing of civil servants to piece our government back together.
