Protect access to gender-affirming care. Every major medical organization — the AMA, the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Psychological Association — recognizes this care as medically necessary and evidence-based. Restricting it doesn't make trans people disappear. It puts them in danger.
The research is unambiguous: access to gender-affirming care significantly reduces depression, anxiety, and suicidality among transgender people. Blocking that care has real, measurable consequences for real people in your district. These are our neighbors, our coworkers, our family members — and they deserve the same access to healthcare that everyone else takes for granted.
Stand on the right side of this. Vote against any legislation that restricts gender-affirming care, and actively support policies that protect it.
