Where are the Republicans who once claimed to care about national security, fiscal responsibility, and family values? Why have so many surrendered their governing responsibility to a man who behaves like a king? These policies are deeply unpopular—and that’s before most Americans fully grasp the long-term harm they will cause. Congress must rise to this moment. Democrats and Independents must be far louder. Republicans must find the courage to represent the clear will of their constituents, who overwhelmingly reject these actions.
