I’m writing to demand that you oppose Section 226 of H.R. 5300, the State Department reauthorization bill. The Secretary of State should not have unchecked power to revoke passports from US citizens for their beliefs or speech. This provision will pave the way for widespread political retribution and must be stripped from the bill. Thank you for your time and consideration.
