Enough of this evil fuckery. There is no moral, logical, or sane reason to compromise with people who cannot fathom why the actions of this administration are wrong. We need to say what this is. Out loud and often. We need to say who they are. Out loud and often. My grandpa fought Nazis. Now the media pretends like it’s normal for the United States to send people to concentration camps. I don’t understand why everyone with a conscience and a soul isn’t screaming constantly that the house is on fire and is almost to the point of collapse. PLEASE! Do everything you can to change our current trajectory of evil and death. It’s time to take the gloves off and do some real fighting. We don’t want you to be polite. We want you to make the people responsible for this be held accountable with actual consequences. We want you to be loud and angry and lead. We want you to present a better way, like Bernie and AOC. We want actual justice. We want actual change. We are tired of platitudes and elected officials enriching themselves instead of making American lives better. My Illinois officials do good work. But we need more. We need more from you. We need more from all of you. This is the time. The nation is in distress and calling for help. It’s time to answer the call, or get out of the way.
