No Merger and DATA Center Moratorium!

To: Del. Bulova, Sen. Salim, Gov. Spanberger

From: A constituent in Oakton, VA

August 24

The NextEra-Dominion merger is a bad deal for Virginians! We must stand together to demand NO MERGER! In Florida, electricity rates went up at least 20% after the merger. We should not be: ❌ Letting a Florida-based company run Virginia’s utilities ❌ Bringing NextEra’s dirty political shenanigans to our state ❌ Allowing market consolidation so corporate greed can go unchecked ❌ Building more fossil fuel plants to serve data centers Working class folks, the majority in America, are sick of elected officials cashing checks from Big Tech while ignoring people's concerns about data centers, AI, and surveillance. We need a data center moratorium to protect Virginians health and way of life!
