What motivates President Trump to pursue these actions? His approval rating is currently around 30%. The public outcry is ongoing. He must be aware that the majority disapproves of his appropriation of beloved institutions' names, for "Commemorative" Coins and his unusual insistence on signing US currency, which is potentially illegal. Iran, Venezuela, Cuba. Even Putin does not engage in such behavior. What drives President Trump's actions? Could it be that he does not anticipate leaving office? He MUST know that we’ll restore everything when we elect his replacement. He must therefore expect that he will not be replaced. He may recognize that he might eventually die, but his legacy will survive. The new or renamed buildings. The coins and currency. Monarchies operate that way - not democratic Republics. But royalty does not exist by surrounding itself with sycophants. But tRump NEEDS the constant adoration. Can we really leave him unchecked for the remainder of his disastrous term? Won’t it just be more difficult to recover from tRump if we allow him the additional 2.5 years? Impeach him now.
