Constitutional law

To: Sen. Britt, Sen. Tuberville, Rep. Strong

"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic..." I hope you recognize these words. They are from your oath of office, and I sincerely hope you take them seriously. I have been closely following the actions of the Republican Administration the last three months, including the blizzard of Executive Orders that the President has signed, many of which have violated the tenets of our Constitution as well as other laws. This is not just my personal opinion, but also that of respected legal experts, retired and active federal judges and even the Supreme Court itself! Yet the Republican dominated House and Senate have been ominously quiet. Recently, the executive branch has taken to snatching United States residents off the streets in their communities and sending them off to a foreign prison without the legal due process required by our Constitution! Where is the outrage? To me, this is horrifying, unconscionable and immoral. My question to you is what are you doing to defend against these attacks on our Constitution and the rule of law as required by your oath of office? I look forward to your prompt reply.
