I’m a constituent from Lower Mt. Bethel and I am a union member and my father is a veteran and we need your help. My retirement funds have been decimated since January and my father who is 81 has resorted to organizing protests because of ACTUAL CUTS to VA services and staffing. The Veterans Administration needs MORE funding, NOT LESS. Please get together with your COLLEAGUES on BOTH SIDES of the aisle and PASS LEGISLATION to INCREASE funding for Veterans. This is a SIMPLE issue and something that SHOULD have BIPARTISAN support - helping veterans. So what’s going on, Rep. McKenzie ? Can we do this ? How about cut some of that MONEY WE ARE WASTING ON F-35 PLANES and use it to support the VA ? Please stop scaring our aging veterans and the dedicated doctors and nurses and staff at the VA. It is insulting and callous and wrong to treat these people so horribly. My concern is that you’ve been in office for barely 2 months and you’ve been spending your time & efforts primarily involved in these partisan efforts to fearmonger and misinform the people of the greater Lehigh Valley - and not just help your constituents who are struggling. We are already so sick and tired of experiencing the damage from the crazy, incompetent actions from the White House and Elon Musk - and you have been supporting this administration and their ineptitude. I honestly don’t know what you’re doing down there or what you stand for - please let me know. You have big shoes to fill as I KNOW our precious representative was very focused on improving health care for her constituents and supporting our veterans and active military personnel. Please STOP with your partisan attacks and fearmongering and spreading misinformation about White House policies that are totally designed to help only the RICHEST 1% and get to work to help workers and union members and veterans - the real PEOPLE who make this country great. Show us you care through ACTION. It’s GO time - support our veterans. Thank you for your time.
