Amongst everything else, we don't need to be worrying about whether this insane administration is invading Mexico on a random Wednesday. Surely this episode with the El Paso drone laser clearly demonstrates: the absurd weaponization of CBP; the hair trigger reflexes of CBP; the utter lack of preparation, training, and guardrails for DHS agencies; the disregard for regular American life while DHS plays out their GI Joe fantasies; and just the continued, obvious, incompetence of these agencies and the administration. Please, please, rein them in. Cut off their resources. Publicize their incompetence. Investigate and punish their overreach and harmful errors. End this madness.
