Illegal attempts to access IRS data was an article of impeachment against Nixon. Article 2, section 1, for those still keeping score. He has, acting personally and through his subordinates and agents, endeavored to obtain from the Internal Revenue Service, in violation of the constitutional rights of citizens, confidential information contained in income tax returns... Trump and his thugs know what they are asking is completely illegal. They have been teaching that to IRS employees since 1974, ever since Nixon. Many IRS employees have been fired for disclosure over the years. With Trump, illegality is now policy. When will Congress impeach Trump and convict him?
