I wanted to thank you for holding the line and not agreeing to the horrible subsidies cuts that are about to be enacted in 2026. I recognize that Republicans are using SNAP as leverage to force you to agree. In the local communities, we are donating to food banks, helping our neighbors, and lending a hand as much as we can. We aren't able to provide medical care to them if they (or all of us) end up without insurance. This isn't easy for anyone, but we have to have healthcare. Thank you for holding the line. One thing to add, be sure to phrase your communication clearly that Republicans are using this as leverage. This is not your fault the country has been put into this situation.
