Demand an immediate halt to the Pentagon's military strikes on boats in the eastern Pacific. Since September, the Trump administration has conducted more than 60 of these strikes, killing over 210 people — and on June 21, SOUTHCOM hit a vessel with no confirmed drugs on board, then followed up with a second strike on survivors. Legal scholars are clear: targeting survivors is illegal under any circumstance.
This campaign isn't even working. Fentanyl deaths in this country are driven by supply trafficked overland from Mexico, not by boats in the Pacific. We are killing people — including potentially innocent ones — while doing nothing to stop the actual overdose crisis. Release the unedited video of the June 21 strike, support a full congressional investigation, and use every tool available to end this program now.
