The time to stand up to bullies is now. This means holding the line as a nation, against foreign aggressors like Netanyahu, as well as domestic aggressors like Donald Trump. We drew a line for Israel, again, and they crossed it, again, and still we send weapons. They are open about their plans to ethnically cleanse north Gaza, and still we send weapons. This administration has lost the election. What do you have to lose now? Take a stand against this genocide, please, while you still have the power to make a difference! And as for the domestic bullies, we simply cannot afford to let another Donald Trump administration near the White House. Stepping aside meekly, when we have all witnessed the pillage and plunder plans he and his cronies have loudly declared, is not serving your country or the world the best way you know how. I urge you to explore every available avenue for averting the incoming, acute global crisis that another Trump presidency would create. So many American lives were cut unnecessarily short by his incompetence in the last round— how can we let him come back? How can it be legal, prudent, or responsible to permit him to occupy our highest offices with such disregard for the rule of law, the safety of the public, or the future of the planet? The global community would be behind you, as would a majority of Americans, in any strong actions you might take to avert this obvious catastrophe on our behalf. A recount, legal challenges, efficient investigations of fraud and corruption, an executive order, whatever means are at your disposal— all must be employed. Again, history will not look kindly on you, in spite of all you’ve done for us, if you allow this abuse to continue. At this moment in your careers, when the fabric of democracy has already shown itself to be shredded, what would strong, decisive action on behalf of your constituents actually cost you? Please take a stand— it’s now or never.
