You are my elected official. I need you to help me and my beloved country from utter ruin. Use your position in our state and country to speak out now. Help me, help your neighbors, and your fellow countrymen before it’s too late. America is being dismantled, exported, and sold for scrap— and the American people are paying the price. Because of this administration’s reckless and destructive policies, we are facing crisis after crisis. Measles has returned. Food-borne illnesses continue to spread. Screw-worm threatens our food supply. Health misinformation is putting lives at risk while public health protections are weakened. At the same time, our air and water protections are being stripped away. Public lands and national parks are being opened to exploitation and neglect. Environmental safeguards are being dismantled while Americans are left to deal with the consequences. And still, millions of Americans cannot afford the basics. Food is expensive. Housing is expensive. Medicine is expensive. Health care is expensive. Families are struggling while this administration rewards the ultra wealthy and politically connected. Meanwhile, public health agencies, public education, and vital government services are being gutted. Federal workers are being pushed out. Veterans and military service members are being betrayed. Science and expertise are being ignored. The assault on the rule of law is just as alarming. Court orders are ignored. Laws are violated. Congressional authority is undermined. Money appropriated by Congress is withheld or redirected to pet projects instead of our state as it was appropriated by Congress. People are denied due process and subjected to abuse, while ICE continues to operate with cruelty and impunity. Our relationships with longtime allies are being damaged. America is losing credibility, trust, and respect around the world. And corruption and self-dealing are happening in plain sight. And for what? NOTHING IS BETTER. In fact, we are worse than a year ago, than 5 years ago, than 10 years ago. We are drowning in the quagmire. America is not healthier, safer, more affordable, more secure, or more respected. You must stop acting as though this is business as usual. It is time to conduct real oversight, defend the Constitution, protect the rule of law, and reclaim our constitutional authority. Stop the corruption. Stop the self-dealing. Stop the illegal abuse of power. It is time to dismantle ICE and hold this administration accountable. And yes, it is time to begin impeachment proceedings against Donald Trump. It’s time to use your platform and address this mess. History will not ask whether you knew what was happening. You knew. The question is what you did to stop it. Put the brakes on. Hit the emergency stop button. Call in the reinforcements. It’s time to impeach Trump and save this country from his gross negligence before there’s no country left to save.
