NO Electric shock gloves for ICE agents

To: Gov. Walz, Sen. Putnam, Rep. Wolgamott

From: A verified voter in Saint Cloud, MN

August 12

I’m hearing about a no-bid contract that DHS is using to try to buy G.L.O.V.E. technology for ICE agents to use — wearable electric shock technology in glove format — to add discrete and painful incentives for compliance. I’d like to see our state ban this technology, and make it a crime to use it in our state. ICE has already shown itself to be excessively violent and irresponsible with aggressive and painful tactics. They don’t need another tool to hurt people that aren’t doing anything to warrant it.
