An Open Letter

To: Rep. Morelle, Sen. Gillibrand, Sen. Schumer

November 13

After the ridiculous antics of Johnson in service to Trump, it is time he is removed as Speaker so the travesty of a House in "recess" for over a month and the failure to seat a duly elected Congresswoman from Arizona are much less likely to be repeated. His failure to live up to his sworn oaths as both a Congressman and as Speaker of the House of Representatives are glaringly obvious to anyone who chooses to investigate his actions and words during the past several weeks. Many of his fellow Republicans have expressed dismay and embarrassment over his conduct. If considered as a referendum, the most recent elections serve as a strong repudiation of Trump and his lackey Johnson. While removing Trump as a way to stop his "high crimes and misdemeanors" would be my preferred solution, removing Johnson's echo chamber of approval would at least slow Trump down. It's my opinion Johnson kept the House out as long as he did is because both he and Trump knew the "I" word is likely to start being talked about, but that the House couldn't do anything without being in session. I believe Rep Greene could be a good touch point for removing Johnson. Please give this serious consideration so you don't become complicit in the extraordinary behavior of the Republicans in this administration. Thank you for your time and consideration of this matter.
