The SAVE Act will strip 69 million married women of their right to vote, or at least require many of us to invest time and money to obtain a passport, and at a time when most Americans are really suffering economically. As a married woman and a mother of young adults, I feel like I am living in a nightmare. This is not the USA I know and love. Trump and his treasonous minions are raping and corrupting it to death, and it seems that too few of you are standing up for your constituents and, even worse, for the ideals of this country. It’s worth noting that the SAVE act will likely discourage young women from marrying, and I don’t think I know any young women who want to bring kids into this frightening scenario. No one should have to pay to vote!!!! Do not allow this bill to pass! Vote no. Obstruct. Fight for American democracy.
