According to Scott Dworkin's reporting: Admitting harm to children: We read through a 120,000-word federal rule on immigration. In its own analysis, we found a single, chilling sentence where the government admits in black-and-white that its policy will “increase the poverty of certain families and children, including U.S. citizen children”—and then claims the financial harm is “justified.” If Congress and the Senate does not act to stop this, our next generation of Americans may be wiped out before we have a chance to get closer to our more perfect union. Your delay will be on your hands. The blood of Americans will be on your hands if you do not act to stop this. I am a concerned citizen, and I have and use my voting plan and my voice. But you are our elected leaders, and your leadership is in doubt. Reassure the American people that we did not choose wrongly. Act to protect our nation's most vulnerable. Doing harm to the least of these isn't justifiable. It is criminal and evil. Fix it.
