Get the Masuma Khan Justice Act, SB 995, out of the suspense file. Detention centers across the country are denying medical care and forcing people to live in inhumane conditions. People are dying right now because of this. Under SB 995 California could use its authority to shut down these horrible facilities. I demand SB 995 be put to a vote in the Assembly. Nobody should suffer and die because a corporation cut corners.
