NO ON SAVE

To: Sen. Collins

From: A constituent in North Yarmouth, ME

March 20

I live in North Yarmouth, am very concerned about the SAVE Act, and am desperately asking you to oppose it. I see that Representative Maxine Dexter proposed amendments to the SAVE Act to protect against disenfranchisement of voters, specifically married women. House Republicans rejected her proposal which to me, confirms that this bill is not about protecting the integrity of elections. What I’m quite confidant of, is that this bill will inject chaos and confusion into our elections at a time when democratic norms, values, and processes are already under considerable strain. I don’t think that’s the outcome you want for Mainers and I implore you to loudly voice your opposition.
