Senate GOP leaders are considering scaling back the $1B request for construction of the ballroom. In a time when we are only beginning to see high gas and food prices, this is not a good look for them. I hope you will try to get across to Senate GOP leadership that if they give $1 to this vanity project, the campaign ads will write themselves.
