Hello. I write to you today as an incredibly concerned constituent and resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico. The horrific murder of a US citizen by Border Patrol agents in Minnesota is UNACCEPTABLE and should be considered an illegal act of force. These ICE/CBP agents are poorly trained, masked, then let out on the streets with deadly weapons after being told they have full legal immunity. The videos I have seen of federal agents pointing guns at concerned protesters for simply filming them have been staggering, disgusting and endless. Now, Trump’s DOJ has written a letter to Minnesota leaders stating if they give up their STATE voter rolls, they will pull their gestapo out of Minnesota. Is there anything we can do to stop this evil, corrupt regime? I have nightmares about ICE and border patrol coming to Albuquerque. There are so many hispanic and native people here it would be a warzone. I am a white woman. I am terrified for my neighbors. I am afraid we will be next. In light of todays events, I am begging you to refuse additional funding to these dangerous agencies. My family, friends and I vehemently refuse to vote for any representative that votes for these agencies to be funded if no reforms are made. How many more citizens have to die in the streets before something is done?
