Hello there, I'm writing to request that Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries be replaced with different leadership as speakers in the upcoming term of Congress. I don't believe that they represent the majority of constituents in how they engage politically. This is is a crucial time in our country, and we need voices that represent progressive younger generations and less of the status quo of the past. The Democratic Party needs leadership that genuinely listens to the most marginalized of people and does not pander or acquiesce on accountability for political corruption that has taken over our democracy. This current administration has proven to be corrupt and needs to be held accountable for their abuse of taxpayer funds, prioritizing corporate profits, and lobbyist funding over citizens needs and legal rights (especially AI/tech), inhumane human rights violations enacted by ICE and the illegal war. Democratic socialism and representatives who understand those values is the way of the future. Please do not leave us behind or ignore the distress and rebellion. We care and we are watching whether or not the Democratic Party is actually representing its constituents. Thank you for your time and reading this and your service.
