I am unimpressed with Hakeem Jefferies's 'defense' of ending the shutdown and giving in to Trump's demands. I am even less impressed that you have not called for Schumer to retire and resign to make way for someone better. As your constituent I would like to remind you that your seats are not safe. They are vulnerable. Mamdani won his election because he cared about genuine issues impacting everyone. The flights home are still delayed. Mike Johnson admitted he is not going to agree to anything you propose. There is no excuse to vote for the CR or budget or to keep Schumer in charge. If he is not removed, that's one more day I will spend telling my family to vote for your primary opponents.
