I am writing to demand the immediate resignation of FBI Director Kash Patel. His egregious abuse of power and flagrant misuse of government resources are not just unethical—they are a direct threat to our national security and the integrity of our premier law enforcement agency.
Director Patel's actions are nothing short of scandalous. He has shamelessly reassigned highly trained SWAT team members from Nashville's FBI field office to act as personal bodyguards for his girlfriend, country singer Alexis Wilkins. This is an outrageous misuse of elite agents who should be ready to respond to high-risk situations, not babysitting a civilian for the Director's personal benefit.
Let's be crystal clear: this is not about protection—it's about privilege and abuse of power. The FBI's weak excuse of "credible death threats" against Ms. Wilkins is a transparent attempt to cover up Patel's misconduct. This reeks of corruption and must not stand.
But it doesn't stop there. Patel has repeatedly treated government resources like his personal playground. He's used FBI aircraft for romantic rendezvous with Ms. Wilkins and even for a golf trip to Scotland. This is not a leader; this is a man drunk on power, using his position for personal indulgence at taxpayer expense.
The damage Patel is inflicting on the FBI's reputation is severe and ongoing. Every day he remains in office is another day that public trust in this vital institution erodes. Former FBI agent Christopher O'Leary hit the nail on the head when he called this a clear abuse of position—and it's time for action.
I demand that you call for an immediate, thorough investigation into Patel's misconduct. More importantly, I insist that you publicly call for his resignation. Anything less is a tacit endorsement of corruption at the highest levels of law enforcement.
The American people deserve better. We need an FBI Director who puts national security first, not personal pleasure. We need a leader of unimpeachable integrity, not someone who treats federal resources like a personal slush fund.
Act now. Demand Patel's resignation. Restore integrity to the FBI. Our national security and the credibility of our justice system hang in the balance. Delay is not an option—the time for decisive action is now.
