Stop hiding censorship bills in with other bills!

I'm writing today to call out the apparent dishonesty of lawmakers who try to sneak clearly unconstitutional bills into legislation as a last ditch effort to pass them, although they are unpopular by themselves. Texas is attempting to do this with SB 20, Congress has added the anti-nonprofit provision to its budget bill, and KOSA has crept back into focus along with the Interstate Obscenity Definition Act. Anti-Speech Laws should be able to stand in their own merits without support from those who have an ulterior motive to pass it. The fact that Texas has hidden its disastrous bill while passing it along means they know that their voters despise it. It has been eerily quiet where SB 20 was concerned, it doesn't appear on any official calendar, but it is nestled alongside a section of a bill related to controlled substances. So openly attacking free speech and expression is not enough even with a conservative supermajority. Now they have to slip these provisions in. This will most likely happen with the Interstate Obscenity Definition Act, KOSA and the SCREEN Act, because lawmakers know deep inside that what they are doing is wrong, hoping to appease antiporn advocates and the press while keeping the public in the dark. Oppose these bills and remove them from their placement as amendments. Let them stand in their own and be transparent.
