Trans people are not terrorists. White nationalists are. The FBI and DHS have consistently identified white nationalist extremism as the leading source of domestic terrorism in this country, yet the Trump administration is directing counter-terrorism resources toward trans people and antifa instead. A recent Mother Jones investigation documents exactly this distortion in federal priorities: https://www.motherjones.com/politics/2026/05/trump-gorka-counter-terrorism-transgender-antifa-docuiment/ While actual extremist networks recruit, organize, and commit violence, the federal government is busy demonizing teachers, veterans, and parents for being transgender. That is not a security strategy. It is a political attack dressed up as one, and it leaves Americans less safe. Oppose any legislation or executive action that frames trans people as a national security threat, and push for robust federal enforcement against white nationalist organizations. The priorities are badly wrong and need to be corrected now.
