AOC recently posted a question: what do you think Dems should do at the SOTU session? Many responses (including mine) said "boycott it, hold an alternate session somewhere else." Considering the utter contempt this administration has displayed toward Congress and the Constitution itself, I think it would be unconscionable for you to attend this session, even to sit in silence. Instead, make a dramatic norm-busting gesture to underscore the truth that we no longer have a government that believes in norms - or even in the rule of law. We elected you to lead - this is the moment when we need to see you taking leadership of the opposition to budding dictatorship in our country. You have absolutely nothing to lose. "We must all hang together, or most assuredly we will all hang separately."
