Trump has received donations to his library from media giants like ABC, Meta, and X. His threats to sue news outlets for unfavorable stories threaten press freedom and encourage corruption and extortion.   Congress must investigate these dealings. Please support an investigation into the corruption occurring between Trump and media companies, specifically the Paramount merger deal. Trump’s legal threats against news sources not only threatens our freedom of the press, but it also paves the way for open bribery.
