Support the choice of majority leaders who are better aligned with the needs and hopes of voters. The frustration pouring in from constituents makes one thing clear: people are watching leadership choices closely, and they are not satisfied with leaders who lack the backbone to fight for them. Leadership sets the agenda. Jeffries and Schumer have shown they are not willing to take the necessary stands on the issues voters care about, from economic relief to congressional ethics. I want leaders in those roles who treat this moment with the urgency it demands. Pick leaders who will fight, not manage the decline. The base is energized and paying attention. Reward that with leadership worthy of it.
