I’m writing to urge you to immediately take action to block the nearly $1.8B DOJ slush fund that Trump has created to pay insurrectionists with our tax dollars. I expect you to support efforts to:  • Block the establishment of the DOJ slush fund • Restrict any taxpayer dollars from being steered to January 6 rioters, MAGA sycophants, senior government officials, and members of the President or Vice President’s family. • Reject the normalization of blatant corruption and theft of taxpayer dollars  Only Congress has the power of the purse in the United States government. I expect you to reassert that power and block the creation of this slush fund. It is a blatant attempt to steal our tax dollars, and completely unconstitutional. Anything less than total opposition is a failure of office.
