Ban Forced Trans Conversion Therapy on Federal Inmates

Dismantle the disastrous Bureau of Prisons policy BOP 5260.01. This policy is aimed at dehumanizing the trans inmate population and denying them required healthcare. This policy is in violation of at least 7 points of the Nuremberg Code, and is unethical human testing. Conversion therapy does not work, has never worked, and contributes more harm than good to society. If prisons are to be restorative rather than punitive, this assault on human rights cannot stand. I urge you, if you have a shred of sympathy in your hearts, take a stand. If they can take away the healthcare of our trans brothers and sisters, they can take away any of our rights. This cannot be allowed to stand.
