I am thoroughly confused and concerned. We keep having the current administration lie to us and tell us to suck up the pain but it is irrefutable that federal spending is skyrocketing and that "we the people" are not only footing the bill but suffering from the cuts. -I want our federal parks funded. -I want social security funded. -I want Medicaid funded. -I want Medicare funded. -I want USAID creating soft power throughout the world. -I want the CDC funded and being run by respectable doctors and scientists. -I want the CFPB protecting the American people This feels like common sense. A government for the people, by the people. I realize there is a budget deficit and yes there are ways for the government to become more efficient. However what Trump and DOGE are doing is destroying everything good about the federal government and pushing into authoritarianism that only works for billionaires. There are ways to solve the budget deficit and it's not by giving the wealthiest Americans and corporations more tax breaks. -Tax the rich -Stop corporate welfare -Truly separate church and state and start taxing churches I'm tired of all the scandals and the abuse of powers by the executive branch. This is an administration who should've never been able to take power. He is a convicted felon. And congress is failing the people by not asserting their co-equal power. Acknowledge the constitutional crisis we’re in and fight like hell to save our democracy.
