I urge you to reject Emil Bove's nomination as a federal appeals court judge. He demonstrates a track record of unethical conduct and a blatant disregard for the rule of law, both of which should be disqualifying attributes for a federal appeals court judge. As acting attorney general, he weaponized the DOJ for political retaliation, an additional disqualifying behavior. The fact that he directed DOJ officials to "ignore" court orders (using profanity in the process) means that he does not respect the rule of law. Granting Bove a lifetime appointment would be an appalling failure on your part to uphold our constitution in terms of your obligation to give advice and consent on such appointments. Oppose his confirmation.
