For government officials to conspire to cover up and withhold evidence of crimes is certainly a crime in itself. It is also a betrayal of their oaths of office. Note that Trump's crimes, if publicized and prosecuted, would cause him to be removed and imprisoned. Trump's team has also broken the law and their promises about releasing the Epstein files.
