I’m calling to urge the Member to take immediate action to end all U.S. support for Israel’s ongoing genocide and illegal annexation in Gaza; if they have already taken these steps, they have my full support. Israel’s military chief has openly stated that the temporary “Yellow Line” will become Israel’s new border, which is a direct violation of the ceasefire agreement and’s international law, and crystal clear evidence of annexation and of Israel’s open determination to prevent a Palestinian state from ever existing.
Under U.S. law — including the Arms Export Control Act, the Foreign Assistance Act, and the Leahy Laws — the United States is legally required to halt arms transfers to any government committing gross human rights abuses. This is not a political opinion; it is the law.
The Member needs to start with these two things:
1. Cosponsor H.R. 3565 — or introduce mirroring legislation in the Senate — to end all U.S. military aid to Israel.
2. Cosponsor H.R. 876 — or introduce a Senate companion — to recognize Israel’s genocide in Gaza.
Polls over the last two years show that a growing majority of Americans want to end U.S. support for Israel and recognize that Israel is committing genocide. The public is far ahead of Congress on this issue.
Please record my position clearly: I will not vote for any official who continues supporting Israel in any way. Ending U.S. complicity is a legal obligation and a moral imperative.
I look forward to seeing immediate action being taken. Thank you.
