I'm calling to ask for the repeal of age verification laws and Texas' SB 20. I am in firm opposition to bills and laws that threaten freedom of expression and freedom of speech. These laws don't do anything to prevent exploitation or protect children, but are used to get around the protections provided by the First Amendment. SB 20, recently passed in Texas, is an even bigger threat to free speech because it makes no distinction between victims and fictional content. KOSA, IODA and the SCREEN Act open the door for more abuse of the First Amendment like this. Oppose, repeal or amend Texas' SB 20, KOSA, IODA and the SCREEN Act.
