Please reject the extremist bill introduced on Earth Day that would give immunity to Big Oil companies and nullify pending and future lawsuits to hold them accountable for worsening climate disasters like floods, fires and hurricanes. Senator Cruz and Representative Hageman's “Stop Climate Shakedown Act of 2026” shields the big profits of oil corporations from any requirements to make them pay for the disinformation and damage they have caused over decades. Please put people and planet above profits. Thank you.
