I am appalled by the Supreme Court gutting the Voting Rights Act and then saying they don't understand why people think they are a political body. This moment calls for all of us to speak up and demand equal representation for all citizens! At a minimum, the pass the John R. Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act. I would like to see a constitutional amendment to ensure that all citizens are proportionally represented, but that takes time and a different political climate. We need you to be very vocal about this and to do everything you can to set it right.
