I am outraged following the recent House vote to censure Congressman Al Green for his courageous interruption during Trump’s speech. It is particularly disheartening to see Democrats, namely Ami Bera, Ed Case, Jim Costa, Laura Gillen, Jim Himes, Chrissy Houlahan, Marcy Kaptur, Jared Moskowitz, Marie Gluesenkamp Perez, and Tom Suozzi, aligning themselves with this idiotic censure. Each of these representatives has betrayed the core values of this party by prioritizing political decorum over integrity and accountability. By voting for this censure, they have signaled their willingness to silence voices that stand up against authoritarianism. This is unacceptable. It is imperative that we hold these individuals accountable. I urge you to push for primary challenges against them. We need representatives who are willing to take bold stands for justice and democracy, not those who shy away from necessary confrontation. Furthermore, let it be clear: we will vote out any Democrat not capable of having a spine, and we will reward Democrats like Al Greene who demonstrate true leadership and commitment to our values. Let us rally around candidates who embody the values we hold dear and who will not hesitate to challenge the status quo when it matters most. The future of this party, and our democracy depends on it.
