Well, I guess we can send the emoluments clause down the drain along with all the other ephemera that surrounded presidential behavior (like ethics, morality, honesty and integrity). If a $400 million ‘flying palace’ from the royal family of Qatar has passed muster with Pete Hegseth, it must be just fine and dandy. If you’re detecting a note of sarcasm here, you’re not wrong. I am sick and tired of the illegal, immoral, illegitimate stuff Donald Trump gets away with. I am angry that this ‘president’ is transactional in every single action he takes. He has irredeemably destroyed the reputation and standing of our country in the world. And Congress lets him get away with it. I am disgusted.
