House GOP is putting forth a budget that once again seems to define good = good for big business rather than good = the good of society. It’s destined either to cause much consternation or head Senate’s way. This is a tired path, one of many impeding social progress and threatening social programs: again, a lot of good GOP does not want to do, because big business gets to define good government for them, to the detriment of all of us. This is, among other meanings, an opportunity for you to exercise leverage against the foolishness of the screwed up moral philosophy of the GOP and all the manipulative/manipulated suited sycophants ruining government by running it more like a business. You are here to administer good government of/by/for the People. Corporate personhood in this consequence is a legal fiction and a domestic threat, no matter how thoroughly the rich have bought and paid for you all. Please do something definitive and beneficial in the light of such threats, this time. There may not be, otherwise, be a next time.
