Reject KOSA Act. Allow Parents to determine what is safe for their families.

To: Sen. Scott, Pres. Biden, Rep. Donalds, Sen. Rubio

I am writing in the hopes to have you understand that the KOSA Act is a threat to citizens rights’ to privacy and security. This is a violation of our Fourth (4th) Amendment right. The way we use the internet should be kept private. Congress worked hard to “protect” our privacy by banning TikTok but that will be made useless by passing the KOSA Act or any act that requires citizens to upload their information or attach their personal information to use the internet or to access information. Companies can’t be trusted to keep our information secure. And the government is supposed protect our civil liberties and if you believe in small government allowing the government to be aware of how normal everyday citizens enjoy their time on the internet violates that. If government is supposed to be small and people are supposed to make things happen then let government be small. Government has already invaded the lives of people way too much already by believing they can put a law on how someone can dictate what is done to their body. Protect civil liberties. Protect the Fourth Amendment of the Constitution the US is meant to hold dear. Protect our privacy and security and reject the KOSA Act and all internet bills that remove safety, security, and privacy. Just like sex education is believed to be something that should be done by parents the same with this. Parents should be able to decide what is safe for their children. Parents should have the ultimate control over their children as they know what is best for their child.
