As a long time constituent I'm calling to urge the Senator to filibuster the Homeland Security appropriations bill this week. It is nothing short of horrifying to watch warrantless arrests, assaults (and murder) at peaceful protests, children ripped from parents innocent people pulled out of their vehicles, let alone the unconscionable treatment of these people held in illegal detention or kidnapped and deported. Please: Filibuster so the unconstitutional actions of this untrained ICE paramilitary force won’t get another penny from us. I would also like you to push for -a separate vote on the DHS bill from the others -A ban on ICE agents wearing face masks -A ban on ICE agents detaining and deporting U.S. citizens - enforcing the law by mandating that ICE agents need warrants signed by a judge to detain or arrest people only with cause. Keep fighting. Make noise. We are watching, and we are counting on you.
