The departure of Army Secretary Dan Driscoll this week is the latest sign that our military is not OK. Pete Hegseth, in fact, is destroying it. He’s been the biggest proponent of military action against Iran, which has been a catastrophe for us. He put MAGA influencers on the taxpayer payroll to sell his war. He oversaw a bomb strike that killed over 100 children, texted attack details for Yemen strikes into a Signal chat that included a journalist, and personally intervened to strike Black and female officers from promotion lists. He is singlehandedly gutting our armed forces and putting us in harm’s way. He needs to be impeached or forced to resign. Also, I’m appalled at whistleblower reports that Trump is proceeding with his sabotage of vote by mail. If the USPS is allowed to keep acting in violation of court orders millions of Americans will be disenfranchised. Trump needs to be impeached and removed and our elections need to be protected.
