I ask a simple question: why is Elon Musk, an unelected, unsanctioned, non-government official allowed access to our most sensitive systems and information in the country?
You didn’t vote for Musk for anything. Zero hearings, zero elections. Nothing. He’s a rich dude that our president has sought guidance from, heading a “government agency” that has never been established, voted on, or legally recognized.
And now he has the power of the purse, denying US contracts, not allowing the treasury to pay for contracts, bills, and grants that congress voted for.
Hell, I haven’t even seen so much of a condemnation of a literal salute he had done - a salute, mind you, that is literally censored in other countries because of what it represents.
Where are you? What are you doing? Your oath is to protect me - protect the US public - from clear and present dangers foreign and domestic.
Elon Musk is a clear and present danger. He is running roughshod over this entire country because of what… the fact he has a lot of money? Anyone that opposes him is mysteriously fired or retired.
So you’re scared?
Do something. Do anything. You are MY representatives and currently you’re doing a pretty good impression of someone scared.
Get Elon out of my government. Bar him from all government systems. He should be nowhere near my information, my money, or the US’s money and sensitive systems. Lock him out or lock him up. I don’t care.
Please do your job before we lose control entirely.
