I am your constituent, and I am writing to urge you to forcefully protect women’s fundamental right to self-determination in education, the workplace, and the home. Recent efforts by political think tanks and federal agencies threaten to roll back decades of civil rights progress by narrowing the scope of Title VII and Title IX. I urge you to reject these rollbacks and codify absolute protections for a woman’s right to choose her own path. True freedom means that every woman has the right to decide what is best for her life, her family, and her career without government interference, stereotyping, or financial punishment. I urge you to take immediate legislative action to: • Protect Title IX and Women’s Athletics: Defend the historic proportionality and parity standards of Title IX. Reject any policy proposals that attempt to replace competitive female athletics with soft, stereotyped recreational programs. Women deserve equal access to intense, competitive sports and the educational opportunities that come with them. • Defend Workplace Equality under Title VII: Ensure that Title VII protections remain robust so that women who choose to enter the workforce can do so free from systemic discrimination, bias, or harassment. • Respect the Choice to be a Stay-at-Home Mother: Oppose any tax restructuring or federal policy shifts that seek to socially engineer families or financially penalize women who choose to dedicate themselves to full-time caregiving and homemaking. Government policies should empower women, not restrict them to pre-defined societal roles. Please stand up for equal opportunity, bodily autonomy, and the right of every woman to define her own success—whether in the boardroom, on the athletic field, or at home.
