News reports indicate this morning that Ukraine is being pressured to bow to Russia's demands. Ukraine is a sovereign nation, with a distinct history and ethnic identity that has long been abused by Russia. Russia initiated this war, please do not reward them for their many crimes against humanity, most recently the kidnapping of Ukrainian children! The Holodomor visited upon Ukraine by Russia was one of the most horrific crimes of the 20th century and the invasion of Ukraine has led to 1M deaths. Stand firm against this evil and force Russia to stand down. Enough! Lavrov's t-shirt said it all: they want to recreate the USSR. We must push back and defend the ideals that my father and grandfather fought for in WWI and WWII. We are AMERICA, the "last best hope of mankind."
