The Democratic leaders are failing to demonstrate the resolute leadership required to defend our constitutional democracy against the President's alarming disregard for the rule of law. As members of Congress entrusted with safeguarding our system of government, they must take forceful action to rein in the President's authoritarian impulses and abuses of power. The very future of American democracy hinges on the Democrats summoning the courage and moral conviction to hold the President accountable by any means necessary. Further weakness in the face of his increasingly brazen lawlessness will mark a catastrophic collapse of our founding principles.
